Amidst this change, they urgently required a logo and brand refresh, while intending to maintain their existing green and grey color scheme. Logo Development
Project Kickoff
To initiate this project, we conducted meetings with the client to gain insights into their core values and business vision. In the logo brief, they emphasized the importance of being seen as a compassionate, quality-driven veterinary clinic.
Regarding style preferences, they sought a design that was simple, sleek, and modern.
Logo Design Options
Our journey commenced with the creation of numerous logo options, delving into a range of possibilities that harmonized seamlessly with their brand. The client shared a multitude of imagery ideas for the logo, among which was the inclusion of a weeping willow tree. This resonated with them as they also owned a second clinic with an oak tree logo, creating a thematic link between the two entities.
In addition to the weeping willow concept, they envisioned incorporating elements like a rock or mountain, an electrocardiogram design, a paw print, and the veterinary medicine symbol. We meticulously considered all these ideas as we embarked on the initial design phase, striving to integrate them cohesively into the design.
Upon thorough review of the options, the client articulated a strong preference for two logos that distinctly captured their attention. Ultimately, they made the decision to go with the weeping willow option, opting to remove the bounding box for a cleaner and more impactful presentation.
The ultimate logo featured a sleek silhouette of a willow tree accompanied by a clean and contemporary sans-serif text design. This logo was not only well-suited for effortless embroidery and seamless screen printing on t-shirts but also translated into clear and readable window decals.
Logo Finalization
Upon logo selection, we finalized it and selected precise color codes. We then prepared a comprehensive set of logo files and guidelines, delivered in PDF, EPS, JPG, and PNG formats for versatility. The guidelines included color codes in PMS, CMYK, RGB, and hex formats, ensuring seamless integration and consistent representation across all mediums.
